I have suffered the abuse of the CON ARTISTS at WCB: I am getting sent back to work with 2 spinal injuries that WCB states should not be reason for pain? I am on morphine and oxycontin for pain which make's me fuzzzy and sleepy, so I'm not sure how this will turn out. I don;t want to see my family starve and lose the roof over their heads, so I will do as WCB says and go back to work. I met a member of the AG's office in 1999/2000 who told me - off the record of course - that 343 people had committed suicide on WCB claims that year. As an aspiring film maker (my spfx carreer had been wiped out by ICBC/government sanctioned medical - legal - insurance fraud and racketeering) I urged him to go on the record for the sake of all injured workers and their families. After 10 years of interviewing people from every level in the system, none of them would 4 fear of dire consequences.

I got hurt in 2003: WCB Case Manager in Saskatchewan Sylvia Tarasoff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I never got any HELP: I was sent to South Hill Physiotherapy were they basically discounted any of my complaints, when I told them of my problems, I was told to work through the pain. Finally saw a specialist who gave me two cortisone shots which did not help. The specialist made an appointment to see me again for further tests' WCB cancelled the appointment cont-

I pity any poor soul that has to go through the workers CON-pensation system. You will be made to suffer. Workers Con-pensation is a employer insurance company. Hence you will get fucked-over, time and time again and again. The Meredith Principle that workers compensation was historically based on is being twisted like a pretzel for CON-pensation's convenience, injured workers are being thrust into a adversarial system which was never supposed to happen. What happened to the Meredith Principle??

Thank you so much for watching. I appologize for the 'raw language' and depending on the topic my 'truckers mouth' will vary. I will be 100% honest in my saying I am not very educated when it comes to matters related to WCB. I have a grade 9 education and my husbands been a drywall finisher for the last 18 years. We just know what is happening to injured workers is not right,and how that makes us feel. We are learning some hard lessons as we go along. I wish others would post :)

I'm not really seeing a lot of solid facts here, mostly a lot of swearing and angry language.From this it does seem like WORKSAFEBC is not doing their job in protecting basic rights of some workers.My spouse had a great experience with WORKSAFE BC when he got hurt at work,but I'd like to see more into the negative side of things. They have destroyed so many BC workers lives. I didn't believe the stories before I got hurt. I didn't believe them for far too long. They tried to bankrupt me, they denied me pain meds for no reason, they told me I was healed and ready to return to full time pre-injury duties with no limitations. I ended up having 2 surgeries in the next year. I am not able to work. My life is finished. I was only 22.

I awake in pain day after day, MORPHINE works but it leaves me fuzzy and sick to my stomach. I being sent to physiotherapy for the 5th time in 5 years. My case manager says that in 16 weeks I will be returned to work as a I will have recovered. Each time I've been in physiotherapy it has resulted in complete incapacitating pain which WCB and their Sec 22 can determine anything anyway they want. Euthanasia is my only way out, so a big glass of water and a handful of pills, THE END:

I do believe Lorne did some drywall in van in his younger days. He was untill 2005 working here in Vancouver Island, making fuckin' great cash,with great guys he liked (which doesn't fuckin' come easily ha ha) finally at a place in his life he was truely happy with. Yea they did the same shit to me, HOWEVER my file information shows there was information that they knew that I had a possible spinal injury. Of course they denied me help or any fucking tests. Fuck workers CON=pensation, Fuck Sheila Wasacase this bitch needs a bullet in her fucking brain so more injured workers will not be harmed. I am so very sorry FIXWCBCANADA, this is exactlly what injured workers are talking about,WCB Adjudicators should not have the power to over ride an MD decisions/recommendations. WCB Should also not be allowed to force injured workers back to work on serious medications. I just had a meeting with my sask wcb case manager. What a fucking joke. I have been told that I can go back to work driving a semi-truck as 16 weeks of physiotherapy will fix me. I am on 50 mgs of morphine for the pain from my spinal injuries that WCB states shouldn't be a cause for any PAIN. So this means that if you drive on the highway, better look out for ME. You will be encountering me while i drive a 140,000 lb semi truck on mind altering medicine. Isn't anybody CONCERNED???????????

Thank you so very much for watching. My husband was working for the 'company' as a sub-contractor. As such you are correct, my husbands employer should have asked for a clearence letter before allowing Lorne bank on the jobsite. The first accident was avoidable,the second accident lorne could not correct himself due to the back injuries,lost balance and fell. Second accident could have been prevented aswell. The employer pays into wcb,that is their support. The Forbes Family.

I have been watching your videos and clearly you are going through alot, espcecially having a family. My questions are: where is your husband's employer's responsbility in this matter? What did they do to prevent him from being injured in the first place and subsequently re-injured? What type of support are they providing? they have a responsibility to keep their workers safe!

I really think it is a crime just for having the title, WorkSafe BC, you should not inturpret yourselves like that unless it is true. If it was not for injured workers, people like sheila wasacase would not have a job, therefore, she should really look at what she is treating her clients like,if there was no injured workers, she would probably not be working in a comfortable office and would be out working and possibly getting injured herself, so she should really take a better look at how she treats people, and WCB should do the same also the whole wcb outfit.

I don't blame you one bit for doing a vent video, it shows people how much you have gone through with all this bull, and really,, I am surprised you have kept this calm for this long, I don't know how you do it, I would of lost it along time ago. I think that is an excellent idea, I will get one made especially for my new case manager named (ANONYMOUS) as I have been informed due to these postings on YOU-TUBE , WCB will no longer release my case managers name. I received the POLICE COMPLAINT yesterday as WCB feels threatened by the fact that they have been sending me back to work in a SEMI-TRUCK on MORPHINE and OXYCONTIN. Hi Lorne, I will be returning to work as a long haul truck driver with 2 spinal injuries, (WCB states that these injuries should cause no pain) I'm on morphine and oxycontin which makes my brain fuZzy and sleepy. Well for my family's sake I will return to work rather than see them starve. However to all the other road user's !!!!!! It deeply saddens me to know that Jeff needed a knee operation and was refused HELP. Why is it that when injured on the job you are treated like a malingering faker. Jeff could have had a long life if he had received appropriate medical operation, (KNEE REPLACEMENT) However this would be a PFI, So CON-pensation CON-ARTISTS refused him this medical necessity and badgered and tormented him until the stress was monumental and this caused him ulcer's and mental distress. It should not be up to WSIB to decide whether any inquiry is called for. This needs to go to Supreme Court. There are deaths happening frequently, Canada wide. If they do not speak to injured workers like myself, they can and will find themselves behind bars. Politicians be forewarned. Any more attempts to cover up the serious consequences of WCB abuses against an individual will result in charges against you. Federal and Provincial. All levels. I have been playing around with the program abit more and found a way to split screen it, I only working with microsoft media player,a very simple program Lorne has been able to get me a much better program,but the dang thing is 'professionals' so it will take me a bit to figure out. Welfare is the goal of WCB's in Canada. Once permanently disabled you are forced onto welfare, no one at the welfare office will even contact WCB, help get a lawyer, provide retraining or anything else that will get you off welfare. It's the same with all agencies. They know you should be getting WCB benefits instead they keep you running around for years with nothing. WCB is a government run insurance scam perpetrated on the citizens of Canada. Government runs a crminal fraud against us all.
