I got hurt in 2003: WCB Case Manager in Saskatchewan Sylvia Tarasoff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I never got any HELP: I was sent to South Hill Physiotherapy were they basically discounted any of my complaints, when I told them of my problems, I was told to work through the pain. Finally saw a specialist who gave me two cortisone shots which did not help. The specialist made an appointment to see me again for further tests' WCB cancelled the appointment cont-

I pity any poor soul that has to go through the workers CON-pensation system. You will be made to suffer. Workers Con-pensation is a employer insurance company. Hence you will get fucked-over, time and time again and again. The Meredith Principle that workers compensation was historically based on is being twisted like a pretzel for CON-pensation's convenience, injured workers are being thrust into a adversarial system which was never supposed to happen. Thank you so much for watching. I appologize for the 'raw language' and depending on the topic my 'truckers mouth' will vary. I will be 100% honest in my saying I am not very educated when it comes to matters related to WCB. I have a grade 9 education and my husbands been a drywall finisher for the last 18 years. We just know what is happening to injured workers is not right,and how that makes us feel. We are learning some hard lessons as we go along. I wish others would post :)

Am I being thick here or is vinylentropy completely missing the point that the accident in this case has ALREADY HAPPENED..so to rant on about safety people and preventing accidents is a bit, well, IRRELEVANT?! The point is what is being done (or, more appropriately, NOT being done) to help people who have ALREADY HAD awful accidents at work...surely these people have suffered enough without having to put up with a load of bureaucratic bs on top of it..stop preaching and HELP THEM!

I have suffered the abuse of the CON ARTISTS at WCB: I am getting sent back to work with 2 spinal injuries that WCB states should not be reason for pain? I am on morphine and oxycontin for pain which make's me fuzzzy and sleepy, so I'm not sure how this will turn out. I met a member of the AG's office in 1999/2000 who told me - off the record of course - that 343 people had committed suicide on WCB claims that year. As an aspiring film maker (my spfx carreer had been wiped out by ICBC/government sanctioned medical - legal - insurance fraud and racketeering) I urged him to go on the record for the sake of all injured workers and their families. After 10 years of interviewing people from every level in the system, none of them would 4 fear of dire consequences.

Thank you so very much for watching. My husband was working for the 'company' as a sub-contractor. As such you are correct, my husbands employer should have asked for a clearence letter before allowing Lorne bank on the jobsite. The first accident was avoidable,the second accident lorne could not correct himself due to the back injuries,lost balance and fell. Second accident could have been prevented aswell. The employer pays into wcb,that is their support. The Forbes Family.

If it was not for injured workers, people like sheila wasacase would not have a job, therefore, she should really look at what she is treating her clients like,if there was no injured workers, she would probably not be working in a comfortable office and would be out working and possibly getting injured herself, so she should really take a better look at how she treats people, and WCB should do the same also the whole wcb outfit.

Hi Lorne, I will be returning to work as a long haul truck driver with 2 spinal injuries, (WCB states that these injuries should cause no pain) I'm on morphine and oxycontin which makes my brain fuZzy and sleepy. I had a good life then i was injured. WCB completely fucked up the administration of my injury claim and made my injury 1000 times worse. My specialist appointment was cancelled by my case manager who couldn't give a fuck about me... Right Sylvia Tarasoff at the Saskatchewan workers CON-pensation Board.. I was returned to work without a proper diagnose and my DOCTOR wanted me in THERAPY...Sylvia Tarasoff who has NO MEDICAL DEGREE, denied me any fuckin help. WCB SUCKS so does Sylvia Tarasoff

He may have been getting nothing. A man in Newfoundland recently was detained at the local mental health hospital. He too suffered a brain injury on the job in B.C. in 1989. In 2005 he stabbed his daughters new boyfriend 19 times and killed him thinking he was a WCB spy coming to cut off his benefits. His daughter also stated on television she could get no help even though she begged everyone in Newfoundland to help. This is all on record. I believe worksafe B.C. was culpible in the homicide.

I awake in pain day after day, MORPHINE works but it leaves me fuzzy and sick to my stomach. I being sent to physiotherapy for the 5th time in 5 years. My case manager says that in 16 weeks I will be returned to work as a I will have recovered. Each time I've been in physiotherapy it has resulted in complete incapacitating pain which WCB and their Sec 22 can determine anything anyway they want. Euthanasia is my only way out, so a big glass of water and a handful of pills, THE END:

I just had a meeting with my sask wcb case manager. What a fucking joke. I have been told that I can go back to work driving a semi-truck as 16 weeks of physiotherapy will fix me. I am on 50 mgs of morphine for the pain from my spinal injuries that WCB states shouldn't be a cause for any PAIN. So this means that if you drive on the highway, better look out for ME. You will be encountering me while i drive a 140,000 lb semi truck on mind altering medicine. Isn't anybody CONCERNED???????????

They have destroyed so many BC workers lives. I didn't believe the stories before I got hurt. I didn't believe them for far too long. They tried to bankrupt me, they denied me pain meds for no reason, they told me I was healed and ready to return to full time pre-injury duties with no limitations. I ended up having 2 surgeries in the next year. I am not able to work. My life is finished. I was only 22.

What is truely sad is the fact that WCB uses this to their own advantage the fact that 'most' do not understand what it is they are reading,when it comes to medical reports.The 'DRAM Questionnaire' is only meant to give the attending doctor a 'baseline' idea to where the client is at.
