i have a friend who swears he was at this show; which is next to impossible because he would have been like 4 or 5. anyway, it suprises me how valid this performance and the nevermind album still are. i also think its hillarious that there are kids out there who think nirvana is something new. the fact is the music was and is THAT GOOD. these songs were instant classics and, in my opinion, need to be recognized and treated like standards.

thanks for this. i believe this performance is the definitive example of Kurt's ability as an artist. I have to point out that the radio stations here (Seattle) often play these versions of the songs instead of the studio versions. They also play "Lake of Fire" just as much as any other of their original songs.
