(To macybeast) See, that's the thing that's kind of bugging me. I get the general overall point of the song, but I just don't know what "new beginning" is going to happen that will wipe the slate clean so we can "start all over." Short of the scenarios you mentioned, I don't think we'll ever get that opportunity to start all over...I feel the best we'll ever get to do is fix what we've got left.

you couldnt do it using all the frets. but there are ways to squeeze out some harmonics while fretting with the left and placing the thumb of your pluck hand on the string you're plucking. listen to "a show of hands" by victor wooten. find his vids on youtube as well. he explains it somewhere
