texas are a fine band, followed them for yeara. Sicne they have going sicne 88 is huge achievement. althought i did find out the guy that founed the band also was in swans way and alterted images and aside from swansways, both bands are very well known

I think you will find in the year 2008 she looks nothing like this My point was that TEXAS would have been a much bigger band had they cast a wider net. New bands should be aware of their following, but if they cater too much to one group -- they pay for it in sales. Ellen Degeneris tried to promote this band, I think she gave up when she discovered that Sharleen wasn't actually gay.

I believe that Texas thought they were being "edgy" by doing the androgenous thing.... but it only goes so far. Sharleen gained a MASSIVE Lesbian base -- only problem was she wasn't a lesbian. Lesson to new bands -- the BIG money is not in marginal groups. Playing to a minority may get you there -- but won't keep you there -- straight people disengage -- and then where will the numbers come from?

This has to be the most boring band in the world, you couldn't get more bland. If texas were a cocktail there'd be made of water and soda, and maybe an ice cube to spice things up!
