Yes, it is a great song. The lyrics are quite deep and prophetic too considering when it was already written and sung. I think the song is referring to wagers of wars and conflicts in the world with a mission (hence 'Soldiers). The text sound like warning of some impending apocalypse like event (beast waking and stirring). The song is coaxing common people (like 'you and I') not to look away, or else we too must dance to the music of the soldiers! How true it seems today ...
