Page was a good guitarist simply because of the influence he had on people but Satriani is on the level of Guthrie Govan because if you pay attention(and maybe go to a music college)you'll find that those guys have the technical skill to play yngwie's shit and to keep up with paul gilbert(although Glberts up there with these guys to just different style and his new album is great)but Satch and Guthrie choose not to shred constantly and they play emotional music like Paganini or Stravinsky

Ok Page is awesome, really awesome and an amazing songwriter and one of the most original guitarists. But Satriani is like a step further from Page. Satriani has the same creative ability (if not better) but he does not have insufficient technique to hold his ideas back. If Page had had the same technical ability, Led Zeppelin would have been the greatest band to have ever been and to ever be.

Actually, it not just the musicianship! It's the emotion! This guy is such an emotional player that you forget he's playing electric guitar! You can tell from his "bends" that he feels every note. ibanez were around yonks before schecter,i think ibanez were created in the 60s or so and schecter in the 70s or 80s but dont quote me on those figures lol i just know schecter was later,and with epiphone,epi's actually are gibsons just a seperate branch,i believe gibson bought out epiphone in the 50s because epiphone is a much older name than gibson but now thats kinda gone with epiphones being nicknamed the poor mans gibson because epi's are pretty much toned down gibsons for normal people lol

Alot of people can fly up and down the frets real fast, I can do that as well, but it doesn't mean you're good if you can do so. You need to make it sound good.

wait you can use every fret? that means nothing, all that means is you can play a solo that has 12 notes in it, which isn't exactly the hardest. thank God i watched this video. because i just saw a poser band, and they suck as a band.. the drummer is off-beat(he even flips his sticks, which made me laugh), the rhythm guitar plays like bass, the bass is too loud and too deep, and the lead guitar doesn't have a concept of "feeling".. haha.. i was refreshed when i saw this vid.. this song's great.. ^^
