We work on a global economy, that's why our problems are affecting everyone now, I'm sure you heard Iceland is broke now, and China's taking a few hits. A friend of mine, his father worked higher up in the government. He said years ago, Saddam and other leaders in the region planned to release oil on the international market for less than half the price. Had this happened, we would NOT have the economic crisis at the impact we are now. Needless to say, our leaders and some European leaders were pissed. 1998, the neocons sent Clinton the letter to oust Saddam. Read the letter Bush Sr. wrote in 1988, it would be a mistake to go into Baghdad.

Robert Gates said they WANT peace talks with the Taliban. Petraeus said the same thing. NATO wants it. It's because 2008 has been the deadliest year in Afghanistan because it's too underfunded and too unmanned by NATO. Even though, these are the men who did 9-11. We want to keep war in Iraq though, 'to teach those goddamned Iraqi terrorists' though. Do you see the hypocrisy?
