If you look at what Obama was saying right after he started campaigning and what he is saying now, than you will notice his opinions have very much shifted towards the center. But the fact is, these parents knew the ultimate consiquence to begin with and I don't think it's an abortion issue, I think it's more of a responsibility issue and EVERYBODY needs to take responsibility for their actions. I know Sweden effectively responded to it but they did it the smart way and made sure it was possible for citizens to reap the benefits when the economy rebounded. Some Libertarians believe we need a financial collapse to eliminate debt or *excess credit.* That is insane. Financial collapses are catastrophic because they cause a severe contraction in the money supply. We tried to modify the gold standard after world war II because most countries left it. They weren't willing to give up control of their monetary policy when they were in a crisis. The points we are making is debt is bad. 1913 created a system that is support by debt. Fractional reserve systems are systems of debt. Sound money is the answer. Ron Paul, while obviously biased toward desperate promotions of his own non-existent campaign, makes entirely valid statements which reiterate the fact that we have and never will have a unanimous "savior" running for president. Half the voters are uneducated middle class taxpayers who base their entire position on fifteen second sound bytes they hear on Fox news. Let's face it, the executive branch holds no power anyway in a digressing cespool failed democracy controlled by corporatism.

Exactly right. Ron Paul is not saying that the American people deserve to suffer, he's saying that Americans and their government have lived and spent beyond their means for a long time now and that the only way for correction to take place is to live below your means for a while. If you as an individual run up a credit card debt (live beyond your means), you have to pay it back (live below your means). You can't expect the government to save you, not only that, it can't. The truth hurts.

Actually, "ur an idiot" is the lowest form of intelligence. It's not even a sentence. We can train monkeys to form complete sentences, you know.
