I prefer this version, it's much more intense, dynamic and modern... in original kashmir vocals were totally crappy and didn't fit music in any way, they felt like they were taken from different song and attached to kashmir... and the sound of instruments are much better in come with me, but that's just the matter of better technology in later time... but guess it's just the matter of taste

On top of that, I think it's somewhat sad that Combs claimed it was "featuring Jimmy Page." Page is shown in the video a few times and he's blurred out. Page IS THIS SONG, not Combs. I can't imagine that Jimmy cares too much, but he, Plant, Jones and Bonham mad thi song, and it wasn't meant to be sold. At least show more respect to the guys who wrote and played this song.

I personally think that it's just about the fact that Jimmy Page took a legendary song and let Diddy use it. Diddy is talented. No doubt. But he is not on Zep's level. I think people are getting mad because we feel that Kashmir is Zeppelin. Kashmir is not Diddy. It will never be. I don't think this song sounds bad at all. I'm just kinda disappointed that Page went this route. Musical combinations are great, but not when it's Diddy and Zep.
