Kaki king? shit. those guitars suck. HINT: if it ain't made out of WOOD, it won't sound as good as a guitar that IS WOODEN. the ' bowl ' design they use is just a CHEAP way of making a guitar. A real guitar is BUILT- not MOLDED. damn, I guess i just hate ovation (owned one for 10 years)... it sucks.

I've just recently discovered the music of Preston Reed thanks to you tube. The slap tap thing is always fun to watch but the trade off is it's usually limeted compositionally. Preston Reed takes it to a new level. His technique is amazing and his music is enchanting. Good stuff indeed.

They never should let the personal lives of the actors affect how the plot of the show plays on. I think Cristina and Burke were always meant to be together. I've been a Beatles fan since 1964, I was 12, and this music, this tribute to George Harrison, leaves me in tears. It is so proffessionally done, and sounds so good. They did not just ball get together and jam, this was a well rehearsed show and all knew what songs were next, how the arrangements were going to go, and it shows. I'm sure we can thank Paul Shaffer, as well as the others involved with this fantastic arrasy of songs. But Preston was really on with My Sweet Lord, Thanks for posting

I wasn't born til '67, but this tune somehow ALWAYS manages to bring me back to those same river shores that Running Bear must've seen before she gave up her fight for life. I love this tune, and I still fight for the life 'Running Bear' fought to live. If I am 'nuts', say so, but I think there's a legit battle for 'life' going on here somewhere...I can't stop the 'dreams' anymore than U can stop the ambition of those uncharted days.

Trivia...Johnny Preston (real name John Preston Courville) was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August the 18th, 1939. "Running Bear" was indeed written by Johnny's good friend, J.P. Richardson (alias The Big Bopper) and recorded at the famous Gold Star Studios in Houston, Texas in 1958. Backing was provided by Link Davis on sax and The Big Bopper himself, Bill Hall (producer) and George Jones (!) on Indian chants.
