Actually, this one is produced by Bernard Edwards of Chic. On-topic: I like this version better than Cherelle's, even though I like Cherelle's version. Robert made the song sound so much different, that one wouldn't think it sound like something from Jam and Lewis's canon unless they heard Cherelle's version afterwards. It's a shame that he left us five years ago...we miss ya, Robert.

When this came out I was surprised he was covering a Cherelle song. It is really outside of his usual genre but now I see that this is another Jimmy Jim and Terry Lewis brainstorm. I think they produced all three Cherelle's, Robert Palmer's and Mariah's. I like this one the best.

Of all of his songs I think this one is my favorite. Simply Irresistable and Addicted to Love come in a close 2nd or 3rd. The women dancing are gorgeous and the music is very rhythmic, exciting and soothing at the same time. My only problem with the video is that he didn't make much of a difference between this one and the rest. Yes, there are beautiful women in all of his videos, yes they are all dancing, but they are always in sync and they always seem to be dancing the same moves.

Your points are well taken (i think they were made in the spirit of overall music appreciation?) There can be no doubt that great musicians are out there like Frank Bruno, Stanley Clarke and others. However if you think that the music of today even comes close to the 70's, I can only assume there is a smoldering hash pipe somewhere near by. First, who cares about silly things like commercial success and awards like R&R Hall of Fame. This is the mind of the capitalist and those that need the approval of others to justify themselves. Second, you need to get out more. ELP is great, no doubt. But there are plenty of great musicians out there today, especially if you look beyond the mainstream. Try Bjork or Bela Fleck, for example. Grow up, get out of the 70s, we've moved on.

Hello Camera Eye, First of all I am a Rush fan. I am also an ELP fan. I think Peart is more of a rock drummer who has learned to expand his capabilities. Mr Palmer truthfully by the time he was recruited into ELP at the tender age of 19 years old was a drum prodigy. Carl had already mastered all styles of drums and percussion by that time. Jazz, Rock, Classical and so on. Buddy Rich was in awe of Carl. So here it is, Carl is more of a drummers drummer.

Once I was in hospital recovering from an operation. I'd had opiates for about a week and was severely constipated. When it finally happened, it took about half an hour to pass a turd which excruciatingly felt like a treetrunk. Happy moments of joy and bliss compared with listening to this though.

Well, It could be that bankruptfilly is just sick of hearing about John Bohnam. He himself proved to me that replicating Mon's parts is possible. While Emerson's keyboards and Palmer's drumming were fantastic, perhaps the most significant ingredient in the ELP mix (besides his superb bass and guitar playing) was Lake's incredible voice.
