Sure, Sodom became thrash later on, after "In the Sign of Evil" and "Obsessed By Cruelty". Those albums are too evil sounding to be called true thrash in my opinion. Thrash is more like Exodus, Testament, Anthrax, Anvil Bitch, Razor....bands that are fast and aggressive, but not evil like death metal.

I guess the best way to look at it is that really old (mid 1980's) extreme metal like Sodom, Frost, etc. is hard to classify, as it is the roots of thrash, death, and black. Back then, it was all lumped together. Now there are a million different sub genres. So I think that though the title "thrash" might fit Sodom best now, back then they also fit into the death and black categories, depending on what your criteria is for those styles.

Like I said, it's not MODERN death metal, but it's still evil, fast, and has growling vocals that laid the foundation for modern death metal. However I can understand your where you might feel they are closer to what we now call black metal. Anyway, they influenced both scenes a great deal. Black and death have the same roots.

I love this game!Its the first resident evil I've ever played. I only have the first one and it's starting to die on me.I hope it's just a temporary glitch and still works .I really wanted to play the online version but I got the game when they shut it down.I might get file 2 if file 1 breaks but it's not really broken, the videos in the collection work fine except the main theme video.The game it self does not work. Resident Evil Online was supposedly the name of a Resident Evil game with 20 scenarios taking place in the zombie-infested Raccoon City. But for some reasons, the name was changed to Resident Evil Outbreak with only 5 scenarios. Resident Evil Outbreak: File#2 came out later with another 5 scenarios. Which means not only should there have been a File#3, there should be a File#4!!! After all, this trailer showed scenes from File#1 and File#2 and some other unfamiliar scenes...

Oh, both Outbreak games are no longer online accessable... I'm sorry. However, the Japanese servers are still up and I use them to play Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 online! It's the same as the American version, except everything is in Japanese, so you need experience. ^^ My HN there is EternuS if anybody wants to play. ^^

They won't help you in Outbreak 2. See for some reason Capcom made all of the support characters stupid and most of the time they endanger their lives as well as your own. The only character that can push things by themselves is Mark. Yeah I know it's very disappointing.

I agree that people have overlooked survivor but not only is Code Veronica up there with the other great REs, Zero is not to be completely overlooked. It's about the overall gaming experience. this intro is awesome. it feels like the opening to a movie, and a good movie at that, let alone a game. too bad outbreak sucked. its like the first mission was a practice session and then after even the second mission underground they just made it a million times harder. plus it was too hard to get ur teammates to stick with u. they either had to be attacked and u saved them or they just had to like u from the beginning otherwise they'd just run around like idiots.

do they need to make other resident evil online game? yes they do. but only if they improve on the odvious mistakes that they made with the first 2. shorter loading times better way to interact and talk with your team not some stupid voice calls scernarios that go together in a plot and not random stages. and because were in a next gen console make the enviroment of the game more interactive ex. like boarding up windows locking doors you open etc right guys? :)

The loading times weren't just annoying. They made the game almost UNPLAYABLE. This is the only Resident Evil game I've completed just once. Waiting almost 10+ seconds just to go to the other side of a door was very aggravating. Cool intro though. And the music is pretty creepy.
