I have SO much respect for the Native Americans. I went into this stage of confusion about my Catholic upbringing and felt that God being seen as a white, bearded angry male as shown in the sistine chapel is not the whole truth. I felt that women and men should be seen as equals and that God could not be either gender, that 'he' is both. I looked to science also and saw that we are all females till eight weeks of conception. After, I found out about The Great Spirit. It all made sense. Love.
