As one critic said "Damndest picture I ever saw" This is one of my all time favorites, along with Neil Diamond and Shirley Bassey singing Play Me. Check that video out. It shows a very young Bassey, and the emotional rapport between these two is astonishingly tender, almost loving. Bravo !

This is the Exit/In I knew and loved. Used to do a poster run, which qualified me to hang out there. Rooms like this don't exist anymore. The "Nashville" crew held the wrap party there. I used to have one of the original mylar posters, but lost in a move along the way. The movie was not complementary to N'ville - the writer didn't "get" the town - but the cast and crew were pros. Brings back memories.

Actually, you can find more authentic country music if you try. Why pick on Carrie? The fact is, country would have died out completely if it wasn't for 'country-pop'. The late 80s and early 90s was a very dark time for country music. The genre almost completely died out. If it wasn't for Garth Brooks and Shania Twain and their new 'country-pop' style, country would be dead today. that older style of country is not that popular anymore but like I said, you can still find it.

Well.. I´ve ownded two les pauls so far. A custom shop florentine and my current limited edition. I like the sound pretty much, but personally I think strats sound better. Besides, les paul necks (even the slim tapers) are just too fat for me. Though my dot has a rather wide neck, it isn´t near as fat as the les paul (which is a a slim taper).. So, that´s why I´m probably letting it go..

However if you like this version you will not like Charlie Halls recorded version. It is very weak compared to this. Eddie has released this on his cd Freedom. wow... this performance was amazing! Jewel has always been more on the country side. in fact, as i recall, the 1st song she ever wrote was when she was 16 and it was a country song called Don't which was later released on her Pieces of You cd. i'm glad she finally relased an album that was so close to home. as for the "Haters," they obviously know nothing about Jewel. i have been a fan of hers for over 10 yrs now and obviously theres a reason why. and its certainly not because shes a "poser" lol
