Just a question... Do you know that a deep contusion (bruise from blood pooling) like that takes about 4-8 hours to form... So pehaps the injury was from the DOMESTIC dispute the police were responding to as opposed to a strike from the officers... PS use of Batons are for large muscle groups and kick are rarely used by police, strikes are. Check your facts first. Look into the forensics of mechanism of injury before casting judgement.

Yeah! there's lots of words in mexican spanish that are in fact arabic, or that etimologicly come from arab. It's a curious thing that almost all mexicans use the word "Ojala" when they say for example: "Ojala she comes home" and it is said that "Ojalá" comes from "Oh Allah!" or "Allah hears us" resulting in "Allah hear us in having her come home!" (Im not 100% sure of the traslation, but i do know that's more or less the idea)

MashaAllah Jazik Allah khair. God bless you sister :) Alhamdulilah. I always wear my hijab very proudly and my parents never brought me up that way, in fact did not even approve or encourage me wearing it when I chose to but Allah Guides whomsoever He wills to His straight path. I wear full abaya and Over head abaya on top often, people ask me if i'm a "Nun" in the malls etc lol I feel best in it, most beautiful, comfortable, modest, confident. Alhamdulilah Glory be to Allah swt
