that doesnt prove him as a prophet still every religion is spoken ill of, joseph smith is the creator and ofcourse will be spoken ill of. there are no true prophets nobody has yet to predict something of an exact date time place, joseph smith still has hundreds of prophecies which failed polygamy is not exactly evil it is just a useless practice and immoral in societys standards for many reasons, you did what most mormons do and sidestepped the original question about polygamy.

Again, you're not reading it close enough. They ask for an interpretation in verse 18 it is then given in verses 19&20, where God says he will bring the 2 records together & make them one in their hands before their eyes. He then goes on to explain why he will do this in verses 21&22. The records being brought together is a step in bringing the 2 nations together in the last days.

In the dictionary it says an heir is someone who succeeds another. Succeed means to take up an office. So wouldn't that office be Godhood? We do not reject the Trinity. God continues to speak to us through modern-day revelation. He loves us enough to grant us multiple scriptures to testify of Christ in more than just one section of the world. Joseph saw TWO personages, not one devil. Oh, I get it, the Articles of Faith are what mormons do NOT believe. So, it should be "Articles NOT of our Faith". If the Articles of Faith are so bad why doesn't the mormon church repudiate them? Used to have wonderful recordings of this choir accompanied by The Philadelphia Orchestra with the organ years ago. Why don't they reissue this old stuff....they could make a fortune! I know I would purchase all of them. Seemed to sound better years ago too.

I was there to visit the place. I was in sheer amazement when my friend showed me the stage, etc. I'm Roman Catholic and let me tell you - there is NOTHING that comes close to this place! I'm JEALOUS!

They are in their new building(LDS conferences centre) that the church finish building in the year 2000. This auditorium can seat about 21 000 people plus the choir (360) and the orchestra(110). this is one of the worlds largest concert halls and finest organ as well. You can look it up on the internet for more information. David
