Beautiful song. Shows the humble greatness of the man, the legend perfectly. Paul Newman was a great man, even greater because of his humility and even greater generosity. He let his actions speak for him. Thoughts and prayers to his family. He's a man all men including me should aim to be. Great, but humble almost to a fault, blessed enough to have beautiful love and marriage (half a century). Great men don't need to speak for when he is gone the world will speak for him. I am missing one arm ..not both. I have a left hand to type with. lost my rt.arm in 1989 saving a girl from being raped by 4 guys,butcher knives cut my arm up pretty bad..the vain they took from my leg and put in my arm collapsed. arm got gain green. 6 operations later i had the choice of a very chewed up arm or amputate. I chose amputation. they left all the nerves in my arm incase science ever caught up enough that i might be able to use the nerves for future prostheses.

Agreed. Flair came with the availability of more advanced Special Effects and the fact that Lucas himself is just a big ole' kid. But it's gotten to the point where in the PT, or even the OT, special effects aren't special anymore when they're in every goddamn scene.

Point taken, to some degree. However, at the end of the day, there is no "contradiction" when the creator of the entire thing says that this is how it all was. It is merely entertainment stemming from one man's fantasy world. If you aren't entertained, and rather frustrated, then maybe you should turn to something else. The general idea of The Force, in any case, is that the more in tune you are with it, the more of a God you become. Palpatine's clones were able to teleport across the galaxy ffs

Wrong. The problem with the PT is that it turns the Force from a kind of dying religious following to something about magic tricks, midicloreans, and other over the top things. And yes, the original Star Wars broke rules, but at least they were believable for a movie in space. I don't care who you are, no human will ever be able to do back flips onto platforms on pits of flowing lava from 30feet away. The PT completely contradicts the OT in every way and the Matrix never had rules, so wrong.

The characters in the PT were flat as hell, had no personality, and were overexaggerated in their actions, emotions, dialogue, and delivery. The PT even made Samuel L. Jackson look weak. Grievous sucked, Anakin acted like he got his toy taken away, Portman's relation with Anakin was like one between a 13 year old, and Obi Wan was the only good one, although he had to flip around and back flip like no tomorrow. They didn't need "flair" in the OT. "Flair" is something for the teenage audience.

True. In terms of plot, the original trilogy. But for action, and characters, I have to say I like the PT much more. I don't know about you, but I found it difficult to really like or feel for the characters in the OT. In the PT, however, I got very attached to a lot of characters. Windu, Qui Gon, Grievous, Anakin, and Obi Wan. The ones that survived to the OT didn't have the flair that they did in the PT, neither in character nor skill. And I absolutely hated Luke.
