Yeah I'm only 17 and I have been listening to The Beatles since I was a wee child. Because of my mom as well, she is a huge Beatles' fan. She has tons of books on them and stuff and I love reading about them it's so interesting. I understand that some people who are Beatles' fans like the movie and that's great, I just don't. yeah I have the anthology on vhs. But yeah i grew up with this band as well which is why i think i don't like the other versions. It got them more fans but most of them aren't fans of The Beatles they are fans of the movie. I hate that. And in my opinion the actors on the movie have mediocre talent at best. We are able to "trip" without drugs it just takes so much mind power that most people can't accomplish that. Mind over matter, if you think it you can see it, just like as if you were on LSD. In fact more NATO troops are dying in Afghanistan so far than in Iraq. Make no mistake--they aren't there to bring "freedom". The U.S. had deals with the Taliban about constructing a gas pipeline long before they went rogue. The poor in Afghanistan are in fact getting poorer. That and things aren't what they seem to be when you fight an insurgency. Britain got pushed out, so did the Soviets, and it won't be any different for us if current trends continue.

They managed to fly kites before the Taliban ever came to be, and that was thanks to America's funding of those bastards to begin with. depends what flying you mean i've done gliding and flying engined and non engined aircraft and im only 16. but i love to power kite specially when i lose it and end up dragged or hit dead air and drop, the thrill was alot better than aerobatics in jets and such, so really its a case of who like what i like the pain and risks some like the safety.

Lots of people live in the mountians, refer to most of Europe & 1/2 of North America for this stat. The rest just tow up. But your right, a few K$ vs. several hundred is a difference in cost, easily overcome by the committed (i.e. those people willing to get dragged around by kites trying to get a few seconds of airtime). Recorded at the second show the day after his dad had died. Their relationship was complicated hence the final lines of 'Communication, communication' and 'Talk to each other'. Bono somehow keeps it together but his voices cracks a couple of times. You can tell the rest of the band is just completely surrounding him and put in the best performance of this song I've heard or seen. Whatever you think of U2 this is one of the best live rock performances I've ever seen of a single number.
