To me what makes this song funky is not just the instramental, but the vocals. She fit's the instramentation perfectly. From the stong tembernent of her voice to her funky riffs. She was very strong on this song, and to her a woman rip up a track as funky as this is what made it so tight.

What I really like about this song is that it's very minimalist. Except for the band members talking, lol. There aren't a lot of lyrics, very simple bass and drums. It just fits together perfectly embodying the meaning: less is more.

I guess it depends on what you enjoy, maybe Negril has more natural beauty (miles of white sand beaches, breathtaking sunsets from the western tip of the island etc.) But Montego bay is more exciting and full of life. There's an electrifying feel, especially at night.
