Does anyone know where I can get the ayahuasca mix? Do I have to go to Peru to get it or can it be purchased and shipped to Canada? BTW I am going to Peru in 3 months so maybe its best I try it there. Any references of some shaman there ayahuascarians?+

This video is okay, despite the fact it fails to mention that the brew they prepare is an analogue of traditional ayahuasca. Real ayahuasca is prepared with the Banisteriopsis Caapi vine, and in my opinion is much healthier for you then rue could ever be, I personally have never used rue nor ever will. The most I've heard of with food reaction is headaches and such, it would appear most of the serious happenings are with SSRIs and othe antidepressant drugs. THE MORE YOU KNOW!

MAOI + tyramine induced hypertensive crises are rare, and really only a problem with the longlasting, irreversable types like tranylcypramine and phenelzine. The naturally occuring beta carbolines are less potent and have a very brief duration.

Thanks for the info. Concerned about hearing that it can cause sudden diarrhea and/or vomiting. Any advice? Or could that just be a bad reaction due to the diet? Long time ago, but I thought it was McKenna who mentioned that (cant be certain)

also, MAOI or mono amine oxidase inhibitors are serious antidepressant usage medications and as such the B-carbolenes in the mix can produce a toxic reaction with the consumption of dairy products, particularly cheese. if anyone is going to do this, dont fuck about. do the research on the constituents and dont just rely on the partial information shown here.

Fool. Typical western mind trying for the "high" instead of the "experience". Ayahuasca is ALL NATURAL and does not BLAST you through the roof like a smoking dose does. It lasts longer and allows you to actually think about what you are seeing versus just being "high" for 15 minutes and thats it.
