He was the best rock guitarist in my opinion, but even if you disagree with that, you gotta say, this guy was the coolest damn thing on stage with a guitar. I mean, who's cooler? I guess that is subjective, but damn if it isn't clear enough to me! Clothes, banter, presence, moves, persona, he had it all. And that's before we get into his actual God-given talents. What a loss.

Yeah Agreed, Clapton, Van Halen, Gilmour, Prince, Page, Gibbons all great. Hendrix had so much feeling, no one has been able to match the passion or intensity.
