i think they freaked out about the rabbits because the rabbits were the same but one of them was from the future and if the two bunnys touched each other that would create a paradox and that would rip the continuum time-space or something...The point is that the experience was to send the rabbit back in time a few minutes and they actually did it. actually, in one of the videos one arm of his is amputated. was this video shot later? did the island's healing properties cure him thats why his arms are complete in other videos? in 2 of the videos, he has normal skin, but Hallowax in the Orchid orientation seemed to have oily skin?

My first reaction upon seeing this was.. huh? 1984 in 2008? not really a great ad The 1984 spot is one of the best commercials ever. But it worked because it was so timely. It _was_ 1984, Russia was a totalitarian superpower, and the corporate office of IBM probably looked a lot like the commercial. ;-) Context matters alot, and it's difficult to see the 1984 ad having as much power and impact during the 2008 Superbowl as it did during the 1984 Superbowl, when DOS and mainframes still reigned.

Didn't the moderator tell them that this was a storyboard and that this would be shot with a generous production budget? This was a teaser ad, people. Hello? If this same focus group was shown an animatic of the Infinity spot where there are just clouds in the commerical, they'd probably have the same reaction. Teaser spots are meant to--uh--tease.

I was there in the pits with Alan De Cadenet, and i think Rodriguez's brother, who was co driver on the porsche 908, with Alan. As a 12year old i was running around with my autograph book. Unfortunatly must of the names in the book are racing heros who died within a few years of the race at Brands Hatch. It was a cold and wet day, the noise was unbeliveable but it was a fanatastic experience!Great video.

I was there the whole weekend, and the sight of Rodriguez power drifting 1000bhp of Porche 917 around the circuit in torrential rain is still engraved in my brain -- incredible to witness, especially around Westfield and Hawthorns out at the back of the circuit -- no run-off area or gravel traps in those days -- was humbling. A genius in the wet.

Sorry but, Clark can't be compared with Senna! Senna was never smooth and predictable like Clark. Senna was fast but rough and irratic and made other drivers uncomfortable around him on the track. Clark was fast smooth and respected by his fellow racers, so I am sorry but they really do not fall into class!

One of the highlights was the when the spectators all got up and cheered the legendary Stirling Moss in his 1955 Mille Miglia winning Mercedes (722). All the comments comparing todays drivers with Clark are totally ridiculous. The cars were primitive compared to todays cars. The modern car with all it's electronic and aerodynamic aids allow a driver with far less skill to be competitive. Another point is that Clark didnt only race F1, but F2, F3, saloon cars, CanAm and Indy ALL IN THE SAME YEAR! And he dominated in almost all. To compare Clark to any other driver is just plain stupid. He was the best

I completely agree. Out of every great driver in the history of F1 I've seen, he is most like Clark. He is so desperately quick and at Monaco and Montreal I was convinced he couldn't keep it up all race. Yet he did and scored a brilliant win while he was at. Alonso is just a better driver due to experience and cunning.

Schumacher was a better all around driver and team member, but given the same white car and wearing the same white helmet, you'd be able to tell Clark cause he'd be in the lead. IMO he was faster and more naturally talented than Senna, because Senna had to work for it. Clark was just effortlessly good. Light years ahead of the rest.

Conformity -> IBM (Soviet Union) Blonde -> Apple (USA) And Apple's position in the marketplace is so different now than it was then that the commercial just doesn't make as much sense. They aren't trying to convince people to abandon the command line in favor of a GUI. Apple has the dominant mp3 player and Windows is considered to basically be just as user-friendly, so it doesn't really make sense that "Big Brother" is Microsoft.

I have this album on LP and it matured extremely well. I saw the band opening for Trooper in New Liskeard many, many years ago. They blue the crowd away from the very first note. Once the headliner started playing their terribly bubble gum like song, I looked at my friend and we left before the second song ended. We wanted to escape before we lost the energy we felt from Coney Hatch. I'll never forget that show, they were young, eager and hungry. A great concert like you don't see anymore.

Back around 1985-86 i saw them in Rochester, NY while in college. They played at a bar. We had a nasty ice storm going on that nite so only about 20 people showed in the whole bar. Once of the best concert experiences.

Well, What a sad day monday was. The death of Craig Jones (Jonesy) The bravest supersport rider out there. Competeing on a far slower bike. Using outstanding skills just to keep up with the two tk bikes. I wish I would have had chance to have met you in person. I was waiting for somebody to bring up the issue of track safety. It's an opinion of yours, so I do respect it, but with regards to Jonesy's crash, circuit safety had absolutely nothing to do with it. He was struck, in the MIDDLE of the track by a rider who could do absolutely nothing to avoid him. This was just a pure racing accident.

its not really a killer circuit,just a lot of off camber fast corners just look at the bike thous if it was'nt for the traction control all of the riders would end up on their ass!! Can't find any pics on the web right now, but I have a book with a nice '85 or '86 zakspeed car w/ cam above the sidepod. Nobody would wanna race with that on, unless they need the money!
