I live in Montana. I voted for Brian, I am middle class. No joke. I pay more state taxes every year. I have not seen a dime of that surplus. Our county Law enforcement and cities budgets are tight, and being cut. Small business fail because of taxes, Its a great state, with a horrible financial plan. Gov. The problem is that the Democrats (including Obama) think that corporations actually pay taxes; i.e.; the great "new" idea of implementing "windfall profits taxes on big oil companies". One example of this strategy that failed miserably is when Jimmy Carter tried it in the late '70's. All the oil companies did was reduce production, the supply dried up, the gas prices went up and the consumer suffered. When any corporation is taxed, they simply pass along their cost to the consumer (us).

I cross-referenced that research with other sources to evaluate the facts. My conclusion is the same.
