Personally - I am wondering if this was even a comparison - or just a look at how biased, Edmunds (and its ilk, Consumer Reports) is about Asian cars. Oh - and I have driven both the STI and the Mustang. The Mustang has a much better clutch, betters shifter than the STI does. Yeah, I know quite a lot, I've hand built cars and I currently own a collection of 42 cars including a 2004 STI & a 2007 Litchfield STI. This is a fine comparison, they're both sports cars, the cost about the same, they're both used for street & drag racing, they have about the same HP, and they are bought by the same age demographic. The point of the comparison is that the Subaru with only 4 cylinders kills the Mustang with a V8. The only people who don't like the test are the Mustang fanboys.

A modded GT won't beat an STI, you clearly don't understand how fast the STI is. The ONLY Mustnag that can beat a stock STI is the GT500 KR, and even then it's not by much. As soon as you mod the STI, there isn't a Mustang that can keep up. My STI which is a heavily modified Litchfield Spec-C beats a Ford GT in every category except top speed, so Mustangs don't stand a chance. If you were good enough for a prestigious University, then you'd be going to one, no offence, just the facts of life.

It's a nice thought, but the instruments are NOT real. I can tell at least of 5 which cannot be played like that: Any string intrument (with the wiper blade as a bow); the harp which does not have the color-coded strings and can't stand, and I noticed that several video clips are re-used. Also some fingering does not match the sound.

I have to say, I would love to drive this car. But I live in the US and do not really want it to come here. Cause as everyone has said, "the US screws up any vehicle that makes it to our shores" So with that being said, This car does look rather amazing. I do have to say one thing. The STi, is still a fun car to drive even if it did get a little slower over the years.
