It would probably help as a simple yet effective solution, but only to an extent. Also, I doubt that it would be the real answer to our problems though. ah that is a good point to debate one but you also have to look at the fact that Obama says that if we changed our oil and aired up our tires frequently then that would make up for the gas crisses.. for that to work you would have to be saying that every car in america has underinflated tires and that's a big ( cont.. on other post)

I know the gas seems high in this video for that time period. I live in the south and I can tell you I remember going to Atlanta on the weekends 10 yrs ago when I was in the Army , the gas got as low as 87 cents regular. OH the Clinton years , God Bless america let Obama win-!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SpikeyMike, you are right, petrol prices in the UK are at how much per litre now? This summer, I think it was close to $12 USD per gallon around Glasgow, but you also have more fuel efficient cars. I spent a few summers in the uk with some friends who had a class c, 30 ft, Recreational Vehicle built on a fiat chassis. A similar RV stateside would be lucky to get 10 mpg, that beast got 40+! My small american car (It is MUCH smaller than a 30 ft RV) never gets over 34 mpg.
