This is a great song, but to me, its not one of their best. It's not even in my top 10. They've written so many songs that haven't come out on any of their albums that are so cool. Tom did say though, that in all of the vidoes they have made, the munich video has really given the message of the song. says its their best video. Every great band in history has had it greatest time and it will never turn back to that. It's sad that joy division had to quit and we all know the reason but I don't think that should be a reason to stop editors from what they're doing, maybe when you listen to editors you can think about joy division but it should stop there. Times are different now, I'm very glad with the existance of Editors, their music helps me get through hard times where joy division can't "help" me.

How can you not know you could export to MP3 - its in the menu! As for pushing their own format, you mean .aup? Aup is an editing format, so you can save your project and open it again with all the tracks in place, a bit like GIMP's xcf. THEN once your done you export (which mixes-down and encodes) to MP3, OGG, etc. And if you meant pushing vorbis as "their own format" then I would be ROTFLOL'ing on the floor for eternity!

When most people say Linux, it is understood that they mean GNU/Linux. Gimpshop is made from the same code, just a different interface so I don't see how you can say one is better... MediaCoder uses MEncoder and probably ffmpeg2theora to convert stuff so there's no real downside to it. The projects mentioned in that video are great and shouldn't be put down just because you use something else. Try being more accepting.

Great song from a great band. If you ever get the chance to see them live, you'll agree. I was lucky enough to be front and center for this tour and it was one of the best shows ever. Chris is truly an amazing musician as is all of the band.

I saw them at Pukkelpop (Belgian festival) and they rocked the world ! Their show reflect completely my greatness definition. Tom is fantastic and the feeling when he's singing... Awesome. I had tears in the eyes during the entire song, I can't describe the emotion I felt while he was performing the song but it was amazing.

I don't speak your language but yes, their similarity to Joy Division is apparent and especially his performance at the Radio 1 Big Weekend reminded me a lot of Ian Curtis with his pauses in the singing. Editors are one of the best bands around at the moment - along with Pendulum and Muse who could never depart my top 5 now.

the problem with all this new bands is the same. Editors sounds very good but they not original they sound a lot 80´s . When is it going to appear a band who plays liek the smiths( want to know the answer? >>>> Never) The style Joy Division invented is easy to copy , but the smiths stuff is impossible to copy that´s why they´re the best ever.
