I agree with your stance on Barker, but your stance on punk and hip hop is just as unwaranted as people like "travisBrulzz" and his stance on Buddy Rich. It's unfair to attack entire genres of music as a way of saying that the people who play those styles have no talent. Drummers like Barker, Thomas Pridgen, ?uestlove, and others are young, and they play styles of music that get negatively stereotyped, but they may, as they grow as musicians, end up with as much talent as or more than Rich, etc.

I've been watching lots of Buddy Rich videos, and he's possibly the fastest and cleanest I've ever seen, but his style doesn't excite me. I mean, he impresses the hell out of me, but if I'm looking to get really hopped up on dramatic drum solos, I watch Thomas Pridgen.
