Comparisons in style or virtuosity are totally out of place here, especially considering that Tony is 80 yrs. old. Tony is an absolute master of the form with superb tone production and such feel for music and the American Songbook; Stevie is a genius and one of the great songwriters of the century. What's meaningful is the gorgeous collaboration which makes the tune greater than either one of these greats could have alone. Music is a conversation, overheard. This is fantastic! My wedding song!

I think Christina will be here longer than anyone else who is currently 'big'; she is truly so good it's not worth comparing her to anyone. But I hope one day she stops the riffing/warbling junk and sings without those embellishments. She doesn't need it. But musicians find their own way, and I think she is a consummate one. Tony is my favorite male singer.

Hey everyone - Tony Bennett has a fantastic voice. The man is very talented - he can sing and also is a wizz with a paintbrush. I attended his concert at the Sydney Opera House in 1995 - he was wonderful. My son Ben is named after him - his full name is Bennett Joel. I used to get very annoyed when people would call him "Benjamin" - call him Ben or Bennett please! Live a long and happy life Tony.

Tony Bennet has an amazing quality in his voice- he's a poet, a storyteller. His voice is very warm, like a fur coat in the cold or sunlight in Tuscany. He's just gotten better with age too- may have lost a touch of mechanics, but he's warmer, draws you in more. Very powerful voice in subtle ways.
