By: Vloreet. on 10 Oct 08, 20:56:00
They have been on a spending spree for so long now . . . they are totally out of touch with the actual cost. . .for that matter so are our politicians. There will be no sense of responsibility when the fed hands over the money. . .its business as usual right? What exactly did you expect from the same people that handed our capitalist market to us in a poop bag?

I suggest you ask about a rather large donation from AIG to the "Rangel Center" in Harlem last year to the tune of $10 million. That be Charles Rangel (D) from NY
By: soundslave. on 10 Oct 08, 16:44:54
I don't want to see a single banker having so much as a Christmas present from their boss until they have paid every single dollar and cent back to the taxpayers. Those bastards think they are free to do whatever they want. EVEN after they ruined their business! The world doesn't work that way!
By: capitalistT00L. on 10 Oct 08, 16:32:49
It's all about raising sales by offering these "vacation" incentives for their independent sales men. That's right, independent as in *they do not work for AIG. AIG did nothing wrong by offering these packages, every company does this to raise sales. It's actually cheaper because a vacation has more "allure" than a momentary bonus of the same value. Also, AIG had already paid for this trip. Obviously, AIG should replace these incentives with a momentary value for PR reasons.

You think this is bad? Look at their corporate website touting how they are the leader in "corporate social responsibility". See more by typing zXhrSgx7GbI into youtube search.

I am so totally in agreement. This could be one of the best posts from TYT. America, Wake Up, Get Angry, Make Ready...
By: Kittenfish24. on 10 Oct 08, 11:24:27
Anger is my first reaction to this. If they want to do that crap they can do it on thier own hundreds of thousand dollar sallery, not off of my barely above minimum wage tax dollars.
By: starzine. on 10 Oct 08, 09:14:52
AIG is laughing all the way to the bank!

Retreat? RETREAT??? My daughter & her 2 kids could have used a "retreat" last week when they lost their house because of preditory lending!! The bankers and Wall street PLANNED this "crisis"!! Read up on it! Better yet: Google: THIS AMERICAN LIFE Search: #355: THE GIANT POOL OF MONEY Listen to the ENTIRE HOUR! (Very important!) You will hear how the central banks SCAMMED US citizens with ILLEGAL loans in order to collapse the US economy! This was done to bring in the NAU & AMERO!

they didn't get their ass handed to them; they got SCOLDED! they get their ass handed to them WHEN THEY GO TO JAIL FOR THEIR CRIMES! but.. ..as long as we continue to promote, UNCHECKED, greedy, uncaring shysters to the top of our corporations and government, as long as we continue to turn a deaf ear towards their evil intentions and actions, as long as we continue to refuse to hold them accountable for such intentions and actions, THE EXCESSIVE ABUSE OF OUR TRUST WILL CONTINUE!
By: Acere91. on 10 Oct 08, 02:12:16
Cenk this is the reason we should'nt have bailed out those faggets out they should have gone out of business and given another business a chance to rise up

If they "admitted" that they had spent $440,000, they must have spent way more than that.
