I had to look at this again it was good and I take back my comment on Vinnie taking degree of difficulty honors. The more I watched the more I realized just how unique each players skills are. Dave Weckl is much better than I had previously realized as well. Great video.

What an absolute treat to watch. Who cares who's theoretically better. These 3 guys are all amazing in their own way. Dave is so technically crisp with a great style of play. Every time I hear Steve Gadd I can't help but think of his blistering solo on Steely Dan's Aja. He's always been one of my favorites. As for Vinnie the stuff he's doing is technically obscene. On a purely degree of difficulty vote I think Vinnie takes this battle. This is being picky though as they are all legends.

A Marker Buoy or Tournament Buoy. my last Bass Pro Shop Catalog from Summer 2007 lists them a 2 pack for $5.99. They are really used for marking your position and they are used alot to this day. Alot like me places one at the foot next to the trolling motor and when a fish bites kick it over into the water so if your boat drifts back you can use the trolling motor to get back to your same position.

It is just to mark his position. Not used too much these days, most boats have GPS. If you find a hump or structure that holds fish you could chuck a marker down and drift over it. Or if fish shut down you could leave the area for a while and it will help find your spot later.
