actually, he was the same guy back then as he is now, the only difference back then, is that they didn't have a nickel in their pockets and had to make you and I think they were serious.....then when the money flowed in, they said, cool, now we don't have to pretend that we're satan worshiping psychopaths all the time, only when we're on stage, back then, they did it all the time to create that buzz. if they came off stage and became 'themselves' people would get turned off...

Awesome to hear! They have so many great songs even the lesser known hits. I am 30 and they were not exactly in the forefront when I was growing up but I've loved their music since I was around your age. On October 18th I am going to Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut to see them perform live for free in the Wolf Den. I've seen them live at least once a year each year since 2005.

I wonder how many people remember when they first heard this song. I lived in South Carolina and it was played on every radio station, juke box and cable music channel. My daughter learned to dance in her crib to the tune of Sundown. Our downstairs neighbors played it 24 hours a day and the walls were very thin. I have such fond memories of that time. I am a greek cypriot, and although the northern side has alot of natural beauty it still seeems upsetting to think of all the people that would have become refugees in their own country that day. It is true that the ottomen turks once occupied cyprus but their invasion was after 1960 when Cyprus became an independant state (that just happens to speak greek) meaning at that point cyprus did not belong to any of the countries that owned it before.
