It was a joke that he clearly told because he didn't know what a reasonable answer would have been. If he did, he would have said "but seriously, Rick, you're rich if you make at least $200-500K depending on the cost of living wherever you are". Listen from 7:50 to 8:20. He freely admits that he "didn't want to play" because his opponent in the last round got drawn out (ending up in ninth on tie-breaks as a result of their draw). He didn't keep a sketchy hand because he'd played alot of Magic (and quite frankly, that's not an excuse for keeping that shitty of a hand), he kept it because he was basically going to quit the tourney because he felt bad about a tough break for another player.

I made this small sound board off another prank call from the Howard Stern Show and called Ralph with it. Ralph didn't get too pissed unfortunately but I'll find another Ralph soon enough who will. The sound clips are quite limited as you will see but it's still a fun board for me.
