I haven't even born at that time. Now I'm 20, still can't find a song like this.

Nothing I've seen thus far in modern music is any good, except maybe the GTA soundtrack, and even then, that's stuff from the 80's 90's. Plus, a lot of those guys you mentioned started off in the 80's and 90's. I'm talking the crap that greenday and those bands put out. And it isn't really nostalgia considering I never experienced that era. But from what I've seen in documentaries, music, concerts, etc. It had a far different mood from today... there's still purpose and meaning behind songs. keep looking. go see the flaming lips while you still can. or radiohead or arcade fire. pick up a neutral milk hotel record. i'm not saying nostalgia is a bad thing; just don't be disappointed with today's music. it's an extraordinary time.

In the open wind listening to that... really, a different era, and one I would have liked to have been a part of. Back then there was purpose and meaning behind songs. Now it's all just crap that kindergartners could pull out of thier asses. Society has really changed since then, and I fear it's for the worst. My father almost had a chance to go to woodstock, but he had to miss out... poor fellow. That's something you never forget.

im 18. i come from the hip-hop age or "dieing hiphop" age. my favorite artists are eminem, lil wayne and lupe fiasco.. but when my mom turns on her radio.. and listens to her cd of oldies.. i turn my radio off insistingly. this song beats any of "my" songs from today, hands down.

Yes. The joke is, that there are just two voices and a guitar, but try playing it with the tenth part of feeling and harmony they do. So, the (apparently) easier it seems, the harder it is. Takes two great musicians to do that, and they are...
