joel9brasil1991, that is a short instrumental portion of the song, "Jump" by Van Halen. My air show box seat that year (2005) was directly in front of the loudspeakers, so in most of this video the music you hear is from those speakers, but the slow motion video at the end required additional music. Good luck!

I think the reds are always going to be better to be fair.. but i do like the way the thunderbirds fly and their skill is very good.

i like the stinger break and crossover, the sneak was fun though, i saw maj. weeks in full afterburner doing the sneak pass, and then on sunday they i went outside my backyard and the birds flew about 1000 ft. above my house, i managed to snap a picture of maj. poteet's f-16c on my mom's camera phone

Yea, since they moved the show from August to October, even sunny SD has overcast occasionally. I got a few close-in shots of the birds, but nothing worth hurrying to upload to YT. Got good footage of the jump jet tho, but YT has hundreds of films of those. I hope to get up to Vandenberg to film some rocket liftoffs. There is a Delta launch manana Dec 5th.

thunderbirds rock but they take additional 5 minutes just to take off that is way long, hey, it's better than the blues, blues don't do pre-flight checks on the runway only the t=birds do that

The best thing to me about that show is that the Blues park right in front of the right side grandstands, not the chalet tent. So no need to buy expensive tix.
