Fuckin Assholes both times I went to see them there fucking drum machine broke down...Just get a fucking drummer, the beats are simple enough. None the less I'm still amazed at how heavy they sound. Street Cleaner was a fucking awesome cd. Everything else after that? I dont know what the fuck that shit was...but it sucked.

Woah this is "apocalyptically" awesome... JK looks scrawny but weilds one mean guitar. In fact his playing remind me of electric Neil Young (one-note solos power!) in Black Sabbath-meets-Swans context. Ben Green striked me with a John Entwisthle presence too. Though not dexterous, his basslines were huge, powerful and crushing. In my conclusion, LONG LIVE THE FLESH

Blimey, no wonder Dave Grohl adores the Melvins, this is awesome. Just what Scream wasn't: really heavy, slow as fuck and downbeat. Thanks Dave for getting me into Melvins! This stuff is awesome... I owe my entire musical taste (at least, apart from classical/jazz, which I also love) to Dave Grohl... doom/thrash metal, hardcore punk, grunge, the Foo Fighters... but if the Melvins are still playing this sludgy stuff now, that means they're even more awesome than any of Dave's current projects...

It probably came from that. and OMFG its LORAX! I've never seen any video of the melvings with lorax. This is pretty early work, and note buzz is playing is beat up sunbirst lespaul.. thats the guitar he recorded about the first 5 albums on!

i met the snivlem when i was quite a n00b to their music and got HAT signed. Kevin seemed fucking wired on something and being hilarious, Buzz was kind of standoffish and Dale was a really nice guy. I couldn't see the show though :( I was fucken 16! Missed out on Fantomas and Tomahawk too. Rats.

YOUR THE FUCKING MAN, i compleatly agree with you... but the weird thing is there still not amazingly popular, now there just like wicked fucking cool popular. insted of the dickhead rockstar look. I met them in october and chatted with them about how to spread popularity, and they had no advice. its nice shit though.
